The following are questions the CCRCD received about the NW Calaveras Fuel Reduction—Mastication RFP that was posted May 13th, 2026. The questions were received either in formal writing or verbally during the mandatory pre-bid tour hosted on May 28th, 2026.  

  1. Do you want a cost per acre for mastication and handwork?  

No, please only provide a cost per acre for mastication. The only handwork used under the scope of this RFP will be any limbing of trees. This work should be included under the price of mastication.  

  1. Is this contract subject to prevailing wage? 

No.
