Long Term Forest Health & Wildfire Resilience
Calaveras RCD in partnership with Amador RCD, Tuolumne RCD, Alpine County Forest Health Community Work Group and Alpine Watershed Group are hosting a Forest Health Stewardship Series.
Join us on June 13th to learn how Campstool Ranch, in collaboration with California Reforestation and Tanner Logging, have developed a long-term management strategy to increase their forest health resiliency.
During the Butte Fire in 2015, Campstool Ranch served as a staging point for fire personnel, protecting a large part of their timber operations and the surrounding community. This was made possible by years of intentional management of their forested land. Learn how you can do the same, share your own knowledge/experiences and get connected with resources available to you!
Registration is required but FREE and includes lunch. Spots are limited.
