Happy New Year to all!

We’re ringing it in with some official Mother Lode PBA events; mark your calendars!

Saturday, January 21st 2023:

We will be hosting a live burn at a property in the Old Ward’s Ferry area of Sonora. This will be a great opportunity to see how fire moves through various fuel types during winter burns. For more information and to sign up, click here. Those who sign up will receive follow-up emails about this event so please RSVP as soon as possible to ensure you do not miss them.

Tuesday, January 31st 2023:

The University of California Cooperative Extension will be hosting a pile-burning webinar. Anyone from anywhere can join, and if there is enough interest the MLPBA may host an in-person field portion locally. For more information click here.

Saturday, February 18th 2023:

We will be having a public meet ‘n’ greet. We hope you will join us to meet the steering committee, mingle with other fire-minded folks, and have your PBA questions answered! This meeting will be open to the public and the location will be announced shortly.

Calaveras County Resource Conservation District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations.
